Sweet 'N' Savory

A restaurant we had breakfast at today had all these sayings on all the walls.  Inspirational while waiting for your food, interesting reading.

We're back at our niece's house in Apex and celebrating Halloween today, Thanksgiving tomorrow.  We've dressed in costume (Extra #1), baked chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin pie and decorated pumpkins (Extra #2).  

Meanwhile back at home, Myles has tangled with a porcupine a couple of nights ago and had to be taken to a 24 hour Emergency care veterinary clinic and has had some behavioral issues since. Not sure if he's not feeling well or just missing us.  A little concerned about the little guy.  Our plan was to spend the weekend here and leave for home on Monday, arriving on Tuesday.
