Self-portrait in the Pentlands
We'd arranged to meet a friend for a walk and thought it might be a rather wet one as we went through some heavy rain on teh way south. However, by the time we got to the car park meeting place it was just drizzle and as the morning progressed it improved.
We headed through Green Cleuch and up to Carnethy where we were hit by a heavy shower with a bit of hail but it didn't last too long and after that there was one more light shower and then sun.
from Carnethy we went over Scald Law and the Kips, with this pic being east from West Kip (I think). Then down the track past a fine wall (1st extra) and through some trees and the reservoir. The second extra has the Queensferry Crossing - you'll need it large!.
Home with plenty of time to prepare for an online prayer meeting. This weekend should have been the Baptist Union if Scotland's Assembly and it's still happening, but online. Tonight was the first part, there's more tomorrow and Sunday.
