Wet

It rained a lot in the night but I didn't realise how much until I went for a "run" - quite a bit of walking involved to avoid slipping in the mud and couldn't keep my feet dry.
The burn is almost up to the bridge, the trickles turned into burns, only just fordable in places, and the fields had small lakes in them. Interesting.
We had a couple of extras at cafe but one regular is in hospital following a small stroke, Mr Rat was able to speak to him on the phone, which was good.
We can't see us being able to open as an indoor cafe for a while as one of the reasons people come is to meet friends, and that is currently not allowed and out local infection level makes that unlikely to change soon. As a result we think we'll be stopping the takeaway after next week as doing it in winter would be difficult.
