Pouring with rain all morning.
MrD on deliveries.
Sunny by midday. I put a kilo or so of pickling onions in warm water and took them outdoors to prepare them for pickling - took over an hour, they’re now in a bowl sprinkled with salt, pickling them tomorrow.
Kept a handful of good sized onions and planted them  hope of salad onions in the New Year.
Made compote using windfall Bramleys and some frozen fruit - all the leftover bits of apple thrown on the garden for the birds & bugs.
As of 18:00 Wales is now in a Coronavirus Firebreak Lockdown https://gov.wales/coronavirus-firebreak-frequently-asked-questions in an attempt to slow down the current increase of cases.
Calendula in today’s Blip spotted in our road, I think it’s escaped from my neighbour’s garden over the road, it’s so cheerful - I hope it seeds & spreads!
