River reflections
It was a beautiful morning, bright and sunny - but this has changed throughout the day to rain followed by sunshine, on repeat mode. When I went down to the village to get groceries I loved the light on the river. After I got back Gavin and I popped out for a coffee at our local cafe before he had to return to working.
Good news about the Canary Islands coming off the quarantine list for Brits, I know of a few people who are already planning a trip there before that status changes again.
I loaded up the latest Adobe updates, and while the changes are not that significant for Camera Raw and Lightroom other than better control over colour grading, Photoshop has some very interesting changes using artificial intelligence with neural filters to make some amazing edits. I have already tried out the skin smoothing filter on a portrait and it works very well! There is also a sky replacement filter which I have not yet tried.
Gavin and I are walking up the road to our local Italian restaurant for supper tonight which is a treat as I don't feel like cooking tonight. Then maybe there will be enough time when we get back home for me to watch the final episode of Outlander Series 5 - I started watching in the summer and have now finally watched all five seasons. They have not yet managed to start filming the next season due to Covid so it will be a long wait for season 6. But.. The Crown Season 4 returns in November and This is Us returns next week, so at least I don't have to watch the never ending re-runs that have been screened over the past few months.
