Forest Fungi.....

A dry start , with another day of staff shortages. One no show, one on holiday, one away to St Boswell’s mart with a load of store lambs and one away to the Blackie Tup sale at Lanark.
Which left me and wee brother to do all the work !
Spent the day drying some more barley and carting it next door for wee brother to run into his bins. The rain held off most of the day for a change.
Went down the road mid afternoon and managed to shift the 20 AAx Saler bulling heifers through the wood to another field nearer to where I hope to load them next week to bring home , as the bulls are due to go out on Nov 1st. And then it started to rain again .
Spotted these fungi growing round a dead log in the wood . No idea what they are though.
