St Bees
After a rainy morning spent ( by me anyway) trying to kick start the local economy, we went to the seaside! To St Bees which is not a sandy holiday beach but has its own wild charm. We like the rough sea throwing itself against the wooden groynes which poke out into the water . We had a wander along and took photos. We were a bit shocked by all the small fragments of plastic at the far end. I love the chocolate coloured sandstone rocks there, extra, with little pebbles lodged tightly in the cracks. We walked back over to the other end and then planned to have a cuppa at the cafe but unfortunately it's closed at the moment.
We went into Booths back in Keswick for provisions , ok beer, while the car charged up on their chargers ready to go home tomorrow.
Tagging for wide Wednesday. The theme is close or tight. Well I came pretty close to getting wet as the tide was coming in. Will that do?
