Tarn Crag

Another Wainwright bagged, Tarn Crag looming over Easedale Tarn. The photo is Easedale Tarn looking at the Fell we had just climbed. Another dry day but very dull. The weather person has just said what a lovely sunny day it has been over most of the country. We could see it! We could see a golden glow to the south but unfortunately it never quite reached us in the North lakes but dry is good! 
It was really quite busy at the tarn, it's a relatively easy place to walk up to with the family and a picnic. Apparently it's not so easy to carry down the picnic detritus. I carried down some used tea bags and orange peel we found stashed under a rock. after I'd picked that up, grumbling about the morons who do such things, we found quite a lot more bits of litter . I couldn't  carry it all unfortunately so it's still up there .
