Look no monitor!

I've been so used to looking at monitors for the last 3 months telling me how Rafi 'is', that I feel quite twitchy and nervous now he isn't attached to one. I should be really pleased because he's doing so well with his breathing that the staff feel the monitor is no longer needed. The monitor that has just been removed showed his blood/oxygen saturation level and his heart rate.
The nurse tonight told me that the last 2 nights Rafi has tried to pull out his nasogastric tube, which is weird because I had a dream last night that Rafi had a really angry face and pulled out his tube !
Lovely to see Carol and Ellie and Nasreen who visited today and brought more lovely food.
