Hen Pheasant ( Phasianus colchicus)

The morning was taken up in town, "the Mate" had a problem.

In the afternoon the squirrel was visiting the garden frequently so Clickychick went out with her camera and sat trying to get shots of him.  She didn't get the shot she was really hoping for and came in when it started to rain.   I took some shots through the window.

Soon after CC had come in I glanced out of the window and there was this hen Pheasant perched on the back of the chair CC had been using.  During winter the grass generally has a pheasant or three wandering around like chickens.  Currently they are only starting to return.  Usually the confine themselves to the ground so seeing this one on the chair was unusual.
