Mainzer Sand

Another studio day.
During lunch break, the sun came out and I went for a walk in the nearby sand dunes - a nature preserve close to Mainz, very popular with botanists for its rare flora (like the field eryngo in the extra) - but actually just a small sandy area, crammed in between suburbs and highways.

Still, it was nice to get out of the basement studio for a change.
