What effect do we have on others?

I was hanging out the 2nd lot of washing and was thrilled to see this gorgeous butterfly land right by me. On a drain cover! But a bit too close, so I moved to get better pictures, then on uploading I noticed not so much the butterfly, but it’s shadow. Feeling rather thoughtful these days, it made me wonder, do I cast a lovely shadow on others? Although I try, I don’t always. 
Brother news, he has been moved to a private ward, in a private room so we as a family are hoping that he has some sleep. Which in turn will help his recovery. He told me yesterday ‘6 weeks, I said no! Just over 5 now!’
