Flotsam

After a very low tide of course, a very high tide. And so it came to pass. After yesterday’s rope inspection I decided to birl out to Port Edgar to pick up some fender socks. Looking online I saw they were in stock but didn’t check their stock level. As it was, they only had one pair! I’m not sure why they come in pairs anyway. They’re for fenders, not feet. I’ll be back.
After that we had a visit from the neighbours (outside of course!) at the damp little sitooterie. They’re an interesting pair, with good chats. Like us, I do think, eh? But just slightly older as they’ve been able to get flu jabs already. Not that anyone’s getting flu cos we're all stuck in our bloody houses and wearing masks.
