Gull Day

I spent a fun hour or so at the marina with my Blip Buddy Mary Jo, a strong wind, three bags of bread and a hungry flock of gulls.  
 I believe this is a new Gull for us.  He's described as large with a yellow bill with black ring near tip, yellow eye and yellow legs.  My bird book also says "take care not to confuse them with Ring-billed Gulls."  I'll do my best, but these gulls did have a tell-tale ring-bill plus "extensively black wingtip with white spot near tip" unlike the gulls we usually see.  I don't really care because they're all beautiful.
They were most cooperative today, flying at eye level, riding on the wind, which makes it really easy to get close to them.  I almost had one taking bread out of my hand.
