Turkey Tail Mushroom

A well named mushroom ..... it really does look like the tail feathers of a wild turkey. The fungus grows on tree trunks and fallen trees in woodland areas.

According to Google it's a medicinal mushroom with a fairly extensive range of benefits .... such a pity that I don't like or eat mushrooms in any shape or form.
