Wonderful, wet web

The cotoneaster outside my front door is an ideal place for spiders to spin their webs. Usually they remain hidden from the human eye but today was one of the days when the raindrops get caught on the silken thread and they sparkle like little gemstones.

A very dull, damp day with constant grey skies. I got a bit caught up with my sewing this afternoon so my exercise today was almost nil.
