Goat’s Cheese Risotto Waits For No One

I had to work today...and on a Friday too! I had Monday off in lieu but it has meant I have been all over the place this week.

Sushi is still off school and this afternoon (whilst I was still working hard obviously!), we attended a virtual UCAS event for students wishing to study science at university. It was really interesting and gave Sushi lots of ideas for his application and where he wants to study. He has narrowed down his choices and now he’s just waiting for his official predicted grades from school to be sure he has chosen appropriate universities. It was so much easier with Eldest having completed AS levels so knowing what level of university to apply for.

Because the UCAS event went on until 6pm, I didn’t get to see China, but Mel sent me a message to say that the swelling in his leg has gone down and the wound has healed nicely.

Whilst Mr Kit was cooking our dinner and in need of some fresh air, I popped up to the church for the sunset. It was a lovely crisp evening and I was a little bit early for the best of the colours but Mr Kit’s goat’s cheese risotto waits for no one.
