Autumn at Dunham

Reasonable nights sleep......woken by a power washer at 8.05 :-(

We had booked ourselves a timed slot to visit Dunham Massey National Trust between 11-11.30 today......we had to queue momentarily to get into the car park, think everyone arrived at 11.10!

We collected our take away coffees and sandwiches before heading off into the deer park.....the rut is still rife so,some of the sanctuary was cordened off for obvious reasons, but still plenty to see and photograph. Some nice autumnal colours, another week or so will see it at its best I should think. Couldnt choose so a collage it is today.

We found ourselves a bench to sit on whilst we ate our lunch, before walking around the gardens and finally to the other outisde cafe where we had another coffee before heading back to the car. We clocked up +10k steps.

Back home just in time to catch the PMs briefing.......dont think our Mayor has much wriggle room now, just a question of time.

Dinner this evening will be panfried haddock, home made oven chips and mushy peas ;-)

Happy weekend all, stay safe
