Bark But No Bite

The weather did its usual and turned again, wet and cold! I had seen this fallen tree the other day and I wondered how well it might photograph. The light was very flat so I took what I could and hoped when I got back home there was something usable.

The shades of brown in the bark contrasted with the wet ivy leaves seemed to give an interesting mixture of texture and will have to suffice for today, twins need their taxi driver so my time is not my own for the rest of the day so no chance for another attempt
