Rollright Stones

This morning we decided to take a walk to work off the excellent dinner from last night, and were recommended to walk up to the Rollright Stones because firstly they were very interesting and secondly it was a steep climb!

It's an ancient site that is best described by visiting their website - https://www.rollrightstones.co.uk/ .  A fascinating collection  of three separate collection of stones, dating back to late Neolithic times - 2500 BC.  

Apart from all the history, there was a wonderful view of Long Compton and the surrounding Cotswolds.  We got back to the pub just as the rain set it!
