Monday’s walk
Talland Bay to Millendreath was a bit like “coming out of lockdown, day one” on the coast path. The weather was cold with a brisk wind, but a brilliant blue sky.
We had our sandwiches on a bench overlooking the harbour in Looe and then a mooch around the shops. Social distancing was difficult but I think we negotiated it successfully.
I forgot to mention that yesterday we saw a magnificent stag on the headland near Freathy and presume it had escaped from Mount Edgcumbe deer park. I also had a lovely encounter with a Hungarian Vizla, which sat at my feet on command.
