A couple of weeks ago I blipped that I was having a go at 'still life' for an upcoming club competition with the theme 'Old'. Pleased to say the judge liked it and I scored the full 20. Thought I'd share it here as I've nothing else to blip. I prefer to capture the moment - usually fast moving dogs or grandchildren, so setting this up was the polar opposite to my usual. Bit gutted that he didn't notice the tape measure shown in inches, I tried so hard not to show the centimetre side! AND the old cotton reel in yards, and the antique cup and saucer. Quite funny really as I'm sure some minor technical flaw would have been noticed straightaway. But I'm happy my efforts paid off. I even Googled the correct way to thread it.

Dentist and hygienist today, all good and healthy in that department.
