Brambly Hedge.

Was stuck for something to blip, so delved into the charity box waiting to be transported to the shop. Found these Brambly Hedge characters. Now, after Googling them I'm thinking maybe I should hang onto them as they are becoming collectors items.

My girls were born in the 80's when Royal Doulton started to produce the characters from the books - Spring, summer, autumn and winter. The books and the figurines were adorable, and I loved reading the stories. I've now come to a stage in my life when I no longer want to dust ornaments, so have been trying to thin out my possessions during lockdown. Sadly my girls don't want them either.

Somehow I think they will be staying with me, along with all the plates and cups and saucers. Oh dear!

Camera club tonight, it's competition night - We're going to need stamina for this one, 78 images to get through! Poor judge.
