An oasis of calm

Bangkok is a very active, busy city and after a day travelling round it, which included ordering some glasses for Mrs CB, more expensive than SpacSavers but cheaper than France in case you're interested, we looked for somewhere calm. We found it here in the hotel garden.
The centre of the city has developed rapidly over the past 20 years and is full of new sky scrapers and shopping malls, so it is amazing that this hotel has managed to keep its extensive grounds and gardens without being 'redeveloped'.
