Horse and buggy days

A view through to the blacksmith's forge and sheds at the rear of Eskbank House, in Lithgow. In ozzie terms it's old: the house front (not shown) built c.1841-42, the wings c.1866.
The extra: a gas lamplight on the property: The Aust. Gaslight Company was founded in 1837, and my guess is that this is a pretty original one.
Eskbank is now a museum, a valuable remnant of a past era.
