Autumn has arrived

An early morning trip to NT Sheffield Park and Garden.  The Hickory at reception is  almost at peak colour, it does not last long so we were pleased to have seen it.  At SPG they always said this indicates the arrival of Autumn.

A lovely walk around and then back home for lunch and some pottering.  I made a stew for dinner and a pumpkin pie for pudding - note to self it was a faff do not make it again!  However both tasted quite nice.   See a few in the Extra photos from SPG.
