Distant view

It was a bright sunny morning and our son's 30th birthday.  He enjoyed opening his cards and presents in the decorated room full of balloons and banners.  We headed out to a local pub for a very nice lunch all eating far too much but enjoying the indulgence.  The only one not so happy was our grandson who it seems has just come down with his first cold and wasn't feeling so good.  I grabbed a quick sunset shot this evening.

This evening our son, daughter and her husband have gone out for a short evening drink.  So glad they eventually managed to find a place in a pub.  The pubs now have reduced opening hours ie until 10pm and limited access.  We had our first babysitting duties.
