Rocktober

That's what we call fishing for Rock or Stripe Bass this time of year. We went out really early this morning. There was a breeze blowing. We hit our favorite fishing hole and picked up some fish. We caught rock, perch and spot . The wind picked up so we moved to calmer water and found a few red drum and I even caught a flounder and more perch. We will be having a fish fry in WV for sure. We saw eagles and so many King Fishers. I think the King Fishers are migrating as we have seen over 20 today and that is very unusual.
This evening we took our mother dinner and planted some flowers in her garden for her. Had a few gifts for her and an ice cream cake. We set dinner up outside and kept our distance and it was a beautiful warm fall evening. I think she enjoyed herself and the company.
