THE REASON...

...I moved to Belgium 40 years ago.

She was lovely then - she's lovely now. Went to La Hulpe - out in the sticks where she prepared fillets of Lotte (Anglerfish) with a cognac sauce, mange tout peas, asparagus & spuds.

 There was copious rosé & her hilarious sister Esther turned up in time for the entrée of scampi à l'ail.

Much laughter & blather ensued along with a couple of single malts. A lovely evening altogether...

First two hugs since March - most life enhancing!
