Looking For Colour

It had been a beautiful day today and I was eager to go for a walk and enjoy the sunshine. But I had a Zoom meeting this afternoon and by the time it was done the clouds had gathered and it was completely grey. I’m glad I went out anyway as it felt really good to walk and be in the fresh air.

It was obvious that there was going to be no amazing sunset to watch today. But the beautiful vine as well as the remaining berries in the hedgerow added some colour to my walk. There were a few mushrooms dotted around. The bottom left picture is a spot in the woods that I like - sometimes there are horses - there’s one in the picture and I saw another one, not in this shot.

One sometimes has to search a little bit for the beauty on grey days.
