When life gives you lemons

I make lemonade!   I harvested the eight lemons from my lemon tree and made lemonade today to use them up.  They are really really tart!!   I used stevia to sweeten the lemonade and have already drank two small glasses.  I think it maybe could use more water to dilute the tartness.

It is hot here today...in the high 80s so we had to turn the a/c back on to cool off the upstairs where we sleep.   We should be able to turn it off again after the sun goes down.  

Supposed to get some rain during the weekend from Hurricane Delta.  I really feel sorry for those people on the Gulf coast of Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama.   Third or fourth time this year they have had a bad storm.  I know the electric crew from one of the local power company just recently returned from helping to set poles and get power back to a small town in Mississippi.   They may need help out there again.  Fires out west and flooding rain in the south area really makes me appreciate my area of the US.   

Weekend hike is up in the air as the storm is supposed to move inland toward our area by Saturday.  We may not have the hike but my bestie and I are still going to run away from home.
