went to kingston today to the Apple store and also to meet my hubby for lunch, (unusual treat)

I went to photograph the telephone boxes that were laying on their side and discovered it was not a random event but commissioned by Kingston Council called OUT OF ORDER by David Mach. It was first commissioned in 1989 and refreshed in 2000/2001. The one standing upright is supposed to work but dont know if it does. This particular' sculpture' is apparently not popular with local traders who say it has killed trade in their street. London Road is just off bustling Pedestrian high street.

Beautiful sunny day today lots of people out and about as were the street musicians .
