Water Play - Crummock
Today was the first day of our workshop and we opted to go to Crummock. We had about a hour and a half in the morning of dry but overcast weather. Over lunch it rain fairly solidly for an hour and then it it brightened up considerably and we even had a sunny period with blue skies so our image tonight reflected the changes in the weather. my blip is of the man-made overflow system at the head of Crummock Water. There the water is channelled through weirs to the river system. I wanted to capture some the dynamic force and patterns as the water is channeled into a narrow exit. My extra is of a group of trees across the lake that seemed with their reflections to form a natural vignette
