Booze, buddies and boulders

I think this image tells the story of our recent trip to Fontainebleau quite well. Booze was the main feature with boulder climbing coming some way down the list.

The white book in this image is the manual of hard boulders in Fontainebleau. Unfortunately it was more perused than practised as the weather didn't really play ball: snow-dry-wet-wet-wet/dry-dry-wet just about captures it.

Still, a great time was had by all: lots of laughs, ridicule, coining of new nicknames, booze, cakes, too much white baguette, 13 euro three course lunches, pizza, booze, driving around, looking at wet boulders, poor French speaking, booze, coffee, Paris traffic jams, did I mention booze?
