The priority today was food shopping and I was at Booths in Windermere by 9.30. The shop was quiet but there was only one checkout open. I was queuing in the chocolate aisle again but resisted temptation this time. 

The weather forecast for the day was cloudy but driving home there was sunshine and great views across Windermere to Langdale. This continued into the afternoon. 

How I spent much of the day is a long story. It was a boring, repetitive job which followed a phone call last night. If I’m ever asked to do similar again I’ll say no. 

Some car paperwork sorted and finances checked. No time to post my blip.
