Spring in Autumn
A couple of weeks back I blipped some old seed potatoes that we really thought had had it, but planted them in the vain hope that we would get a crop - there you go . . .
And followers of my journal will be familiar with the cherry tree saga, last seen attempting new growth after it had been pruned - not doing too bad me thinks. The main trunk was showing no signs of sprouting, so we have cut it back to make a seat.
Bin day today - the ‘silver’ (so the council says) recycling one. Very exciting.
Soup and sandies for lunch - I made a 'beef and etc' soup incorporating the left over wine from yesterday. Slept all afternoon.
