Chloe and Dumyat.

This afternoon we had a good wander north of the river near Alloa. Mostly through farmland, right down to the reed beds on the river bank with views up to Stirling and the Wallace Monument. However, I liked this shot of Chloe with Dumyat (418 metres) in the background. Dumyat (Du-my-at) is the western end of the Ochil hills and the summit provides some great views across Central Scotland.
We waited until this afternoon to head out as we were still under the tail end of yesterday’s storm. However, after lunch the clouds lifted, the sun came out to play and it actually got quite warm.
I leave it to MaggieD to relate our little morning trip and the reason for it.
