As sure as eggs is eggs

........the weather forecasters got it exactly right today!!!!

It has poured down all day and is not scheduled to stop until 9am tomorrow morning.....:-/

Slept like a log last night, thankfully, in bed just after 11, no idea how I lasted so long! I didn't wake at all until just after 6....then slept on again until just before 9, made a cuppa and took it back to bed, lounged until nearly 10, no urge to get up as I could hear the ran pelting down!

We had scrambled eggs, bacon and toast for brunch.....I had spinah under my eggs too,hubs not a fsn though. I though the difference in size of these eggs, from different cartons was rather silly, so perfect for todays Silly Saturday challenge, in memory of Admirer, of course.

Left some laundry on a hot wash whilst we drove into town for a couple of things needed for this evenings dinner....making chicken tikka, vegetable curry, with rice and poppadums.

We got pretty wet just collecting the groceries and a paper, before we popped into Costa for a coffee.

Back home later, said curry is now simmering away, smells good, just need to grill the chicken and cook the rice.

Its only 6.30 and we already have lights on :-/

Going to be a long ol winter if this keeps up!
Especially as there are no holidays in sight....omg, now I am depressing myself lol!

Hopefully drier tomorrow, can't be any wetter can it?!
