Boiling!

Had the most horrendous night last night, could not get off! When I did, slept fitfully, kept waking up, my mind all over the place, think I got about 3 hours! Not even as fresh as a dead daisy today :-/

Dragged myself up amidst the noise of building works next door. We had planned to go out to look at posdible shutters for our new windows, once replaced, but wasn't in the right frame of mind, so instead just walked into town to get some fresh air and caffiene lol!

Pleased to hear Reds has been bought out so will survive, something that made me smile at least ;-).

We had to be back home before 1pm in time for our Boiler service....the engineer arrived about 15 minutes after we got back. We have used the same company for years. Since the new boiler was installed 5 years ago, the same engineer has conducted the service. He is really knowledge and amiable. Every time I see him he reminds me of someone, just can't put my finger on it though :-/

Had a relatively lazy afternoon, I did chop up a just ripe pineapple for nibbling later and prepared cauliflower in a cheese sauce, to go with gammon and jacket potato for dinner this evening....its not been a good week so I need to get my head in gear.

A lazy night in front of the tv tonight....if I can keep my eyes open lol. Maybe a tipple to help me sleep ;-)

Promise to be a bit more upbeat tomorrow, after a good nights sleep hopefully.
