sunset on Alde
This is the final sunset of our week in Suffolk, taken next to our stay on the old brick yard, with this the abandoned jetty. Today Nick and Liz left for home leaving us home alone for the last evening so we made the most of it by ending a full on day with a delicious meal at the Lighthouse in Aldeburgh, highly recommended.
The day is summarised in the extras, we started with a mooch around the retail part of Snape Maltings. Then on to Woodbridge Tide Mill where we saw turnstones. I also captured the guy who hadn't sold a boat for some time. By now the sky was clearing and we actually had a good blue sky for the rest of the afternoon, our best weather of the week. So onto Shingle St where I captured the big Suffolk skies as I remember them.
Pack the bags in the morning and back home before the next storm arrives.
