Baby cones

Weather has been awful again, rain, rain and more rain. It decided to brighten up abit so we decided to go for a car ride to find a local park that has a restaurant in it in the shape of a Mississipi paddle steamer, found the park and went for a walk amongst the sand dunes. Reminded me of the sand dunes and pine forest at Formby. These last few weeks have seen all the pine trees laden with pollen, which has caused me no end of problems on the golf course, lots of sneezing and watery eyes. Anyway, took some photos of baby pine cones and decided to blip this one. Found the restaurant, very elegant inside, not cheap so its one to save for a special occasion meal. It's Roys birthday in May so will probably try it out then.
