She’s back

She’s back and she’s happy.

We delivered Dot.T back to university. Her accommodation is just a zillion times better than last year and friends moved in the same day. I’m so so relieved for her. Obviously none of us mere humans know what’s ahead but for her sake, I’m so glad she’s there. A girl she’s grown up with as a neighbour and a bestie is arriving next week to a college only 1 minute away. Fabulous start.

And as it was one of those packed days, we met an old colleague of Elbows at a pub for a very late lunch. It happened to be Jamie Oliver’s parents pub and the food was suitably delicious (& pricey) but this ex-colleague & his wife always eat like this!

Home to a full compliment at home. Lovely to have LongLegs and a friend visit. The rule of 6 is so hard when you have a big family. I wish I’d taken a picture of NoaNoa appearing at a window, unable to come in until somebody came out. He was so funny.
