Home-made love.

This is my Valentine's Day card today. I'm quite pleased with my freeform outline of mainland Britain, although as usual it has a Scottish weight to it. I remember last century in one of my first Geography seminars as a fresher student, we were all asked to draw a map of GB from memory, marking the location of cities and centres of industry. The class consisted of students from all across the UK, and farther afield, and every map was different. One's perception of a country's outline is influenced by where you're from.
