Long Tailed Tit

I don't think I've ever seen one of these in the bushes and I've certainly never managed to photograph one. 

I spent a pleasant hour after work out in the field, trying to spot some of the small birds in the hedgerows.  The golden hour was glorious, with the sun hitting the foliage and my patience was eventually paid by the appearance of these dear little birds.  They seemed quite self assured, but tended to stay fairly hidden and the badger like stripes on their heads was good camouflage.  Eventually, the noisy approach of a squabbling family eventually made them fly off.
