Return of the Dexters

The small Dexter cattle returned to the nature reserve today to help us keep some of the scrub at bay. They are particularly fond of nibbling at any fallen Ash branches and they found one soon after they arrived. Giving that a good going over was so tiring that one of them needed a rest. I shall be checking them and our 14 Beulah (Welsh mountain) sheep regularly over the next few weeks, so there may be more blips.
