Cherwell Valley Walk

It was a beautiful day today in Oxfordshire. We met up with Miss M again and went for a lovely 6 mile walk along the Cherwell Valley, which took us along canals, across fields and through picturesque villages.
It was such a joy to be able to spend the day with her. In the evening we went out for an Indian meal together - something we haven’t done for ages.
The only down side to the day was hearing the news that our county in South Wales is now in lockdown, so when we get back home tomorrow that will be the end to our travels for a while. It made us even more grateful that we’ve had this lovely long weekend away and a chance to see Miss M. Who knows when we’ll next be able to see any of our children again?!
