Sleepy head

Another long week of work so I was happy to sleep in a little this morning. I was woken by Milo who came and lay down on me for a while while I snoozed! Here he is enjoying a nap on our bed after I got up. His eye is healing well and he is back to his old self which is good news.

My son had a football match this morning. It was very windy and cold, a sharp contrast to last week where we sat enjoying the sun. Anyway they had a good match - it ended in a draw but they were the better team.

This afternoon I ventured to John Lewis to pick up a few things that were not available on-line. My son came with me and we managed to get a couple of jumpers, one for school: they are keeping then all safe by keeping the windows open but it’s chilly! I’ve hardly been shopping at all (apart from groceries) so it was nice to get back to some normality although I was very conscious of keeping my distance.

After dinner we did the virtual pub quiz against our family in Canada. It’s become a regular thing on a Thursday and Saturday. They have yet to beat us...!
