For Dayzzzz & Days, Preston Hall, Aylesford

 Knackered after a hard week at work so decided to pop to The Poppy Fields, which is our local Marstons pub for a swift pint and a half. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who was observing all the new Covid rules and didn't throw a wobbly when we said we didn't have a smartphone to scan the QR code (whatever that is!). All we had to do was text our name to a number instead - easy. 
Made such a difference to our visit last week to the pub in our village where, even though we were the only people sitting inside, were ignored for well over forty minutes  and never received the extra drinks we asked for. The bill never came either and so I had to approach the bar to ask for it. We weren't impressed and won't be going back soon.
Today's image is of a surfer's VW van parked in the grounds of the old Preston Hall hospital, which is now posh houses and flats. I like how it stood out against the trees and the other vehicles in the car park.
