Toad in the melon plant
Well actually toad in what is left of the cantaloupe vine . Which, after 60 days ( supposedly 55 day ) of growth produced 1 baseball sized cantaloupe before it started to die , and two smaller ones that are still green . The largest was picked off and chewed by a rodent . Either a chipmunk or squirrel who apparently after 2 bites decided they didn't like it and left it 4 feet from it's original location.
The toad, however, seemed to like hanging out under what was left of the vine.
posting late again - trying to paint my doorframe after work !
