Sandwood Bay
Sunrise at Sandwood Bay. Lovely morning waking up camped above the beautiful beach. The previous afternoon and night had awful weather, but that was all forgotten with the rising sun. A few more extras included of the beach, the surroundings, a pair of ringed plovers, and the Am Buachaille sea stack. It is 65m high and was first climbed the year I was born by a group of mountaineers including Tom Patey who was a Doctor in Ullapool where I lived in my youth.
